A/C and Heat Pump Manufacturers

Today there are many brands of heat pump, air conditioners and furnaces to choose from. At least it would seem that way, but in reality there aren't actually as many choices as it appears. There are basically 7 primary companies that manufacture the majority of all HVAC equipment. Many of these manufacturers make the same machine and market it under different brand names, with the only difference perhaps being the paint color and the ID tag. This is very common.
